FCMC Dallas had a ZERO % Episiotomy rate for 2004!
We are happy to announce that Michelle, Joyce and Robin needed to perform no episiotomies in the entire year of 2004!

FCMC had a 3.2% cesarean section rate for 2004!
Only 3.2% of FCMC clients who began their labor with the midwives at FCMC ended up giving birth in the hospital via cesarean section in 2004. The birth process works!

FCMC Offers Prenatal Massage on December 7th
Call FCMC today at 972-205-9600 to schedule your appointment for a prenatal massage on December 7, 2004. Appointments are available from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. The cost is $35.00 for half an hour, and $45.00 for a full hour. Treat yourself- you deserve it!

Childbirth Classes Begin in June!
In June and July, FCMC Dallas will be offering an affordable fast-track childbirth course option. The entire 10-hour course will take place over one weekend, with sessions on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, and Sunday afternoon. Registration begins in May, check back for a form or contact us for more details!

Grand Opening postponed due to rain!
FCMC Dallas will still be an open house from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday 24 April 2004, but the festivities and bounce house have been re-scheduled to Saturday, the 8th of May from noon until 4 p.m. due to rain. We hope to see you there!

As of 10 April 2004, Family Centered Maternity Care will have a new address, 106 N. 11th Street in Garland. FCMC will continue to offer well-woman care, gynecology, family planning, prenatal care, birth center and home births, and primary care for women.
