Family Centered Maternity Care Birth Center
 FCMC offers an exceptional childbirth option to women
desiring a homebirth or free-standing birth center alternative to a
traditional hospital delivery. Joyce Nelson is a Registered Nurse
and Certified Professional Midwife, and Kathleen Mayorga is a
Certified Nurse-Midwife, both with extensive training and expertise
in maternal/child health.
Our focus is quality maternity care, combining our knowledge of,
and confidence in, the process of normal childbirth, with technical
excellence when needed. We are passionate about giving special
attention to fulfilling your personal preferences for your child’s
birth experience.
We have moved! Please make a note of our new address. Our new
facility is conveniently located within five minutes of I-635, I-30
and the George Bush Tollway (190).
We look forward to continuing to serve women in the Metroplex
